Release day: mark the release out
A pre-save does not fire on its own. When your music is live, paste one release link and Music24 saves the track for every fan who pre-saved.

Music24 cannot know the moment your music is live on every service, so you tell it. Until you do, fans keep waiting, even after the release date has passed.
Mark the release out
- Open Promote → Smartlinks and click the pre-save page.
- In the Pre-save campaign panel, click Release now.
- A window opens. Paste one link to the release from any music service and click Find the other links. Use Add another link for a service Music24 does not find.
- In Mark as released, click Release now.
What happens then
- The page becomes a release page with a button for each service, and shows Out now.
- Every fan who connected a service gets the track in their library, within the hour.
- Every fan who chose an email reminder gets one email with your links.
- A fan whose service connection no longer works is emailed instead, if they left an address. The panel shows how many saves were delivered, emailed or failed. See Pre-save fans, reminders and CSV export.
If you forget
- Once the release date has passed, we send you one reminder email at the next 09:00 UTC.
- A campaign that is still waiting 30 days after its release date closes on its own and shows Expired. Nothing is sent to the fans. Their sign-ups stay in your counts.
Call off a campaign
If the release will not happen, click Cancel in the Pre-save campaign panel, then Cancel the campaign. The page stays online, but the block stops taking pre-saves and nothing is sent. The fans who signed up are kept, so your counts stay right. You cannot undo this.
Questions
Why did my pre-save fans not get the track on release day?
The campaign was not marked released. Open the page and click Release now. The saves go out within the hour.
Can I release before the date I set?
Yes. Release now works at any time while the campaign is open.
