Artist and track pages
Rank artists by playlist reach and tracks by playlist momentum, then open any one for its playlist scores, audience reach and charts.
Public intelligence → Artists ranks artists by playlist reach. Public intelligence → Tracks ranks tracks by playlist momentum. Both cover every artist and track we track.
The rankings
- Top Gaining Artists and Top Artists Overall on the Artists page.
- Top Gaining Tracks and Top Tracks Overall on the Tracks page.
- The search field above the rankings opens any artist or track, also one that is not in a ranking.
What a detail page shows
- Playlist Visibility Score: how many playlists the music appears in, per 10,000 tracked playlists.
- Playlist Gain Score and Playlist Loss Score: how often the music was added to and removed from playlists.
- Chart playlist adds: adds to chart and editorial playlists on the picked day.
- Reach score: playlist adds weighted by the audience of each playlist. It is not a follower count.
- Listening Score: how much an anonymized sample of listeners plays the music, compared with all listening. It shows on Manager, Label and the 7-day trial.
- Audience reach: the people the playlists reach, and across how many playlists. Some playlists have no known audience, and the card says how many.
Each page has a Follow button. Opening an artist or track page uses a browse credit, unless your workspace follows it. See Browse and daily browse credits.
Dates, ranges and countries
The date picker sets the day. On a detail page, the 7d, 14d and 30d chips set the range of the charts. A chip with a lock is longer than your plan’s history.
Filter by country switches a page from Worldwide to one country. The country filter comes with Manager, Label and the trial. On Free and Artist the app asks you to upgrade.
History and ranking depth per plan
Your plan sets how many days back you can look and how far down a ranking you can page. The depth is the highest row a page can start from.
| Plan | Days of history | Ranking depth |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 7 | 10 |
| The 7-day trial | 180 | 90 |
| Artist | 90 | 40 |
| Manager | 180 | 90 |
| Label | 365 | 90 |
Past the limit, the app says "Date … is beyond your history limit of … days" or "Offset … exceeds your license limit of …". See History window and CSV export per plan.
Questions
What is the difference between Top Gaining and Top Overall?
Top Gaining ranks by how many playlist adds the music got on the picked day. Top Overall ranks by how many playlists it is on.
Why can I not filter by country?
The country filter is part of Manager and Label, and of the 7-day trial.
Is the Reach score the number of followers?
No. It weights each playlist add by the size of the playlist. The Audience reach card shows the number of people.
