Make the assets of a song: Releases and Studio

Every song in your catalog has one page with its images and videos. Make one asset in Studio, or the whole kit in one click.

Open Promote → Releases. It lists every song of your catalog, upcoming releases first. Click a song to open its page. The page has two tabs: Assets and Plan.

Everything is made for one song of your catalog. If the list is empty, claim a released song or add an unreleased one in the Catalog first. Videos read the song, so they need its master. Images do not.

The Assets tab

The tab groups the assets by where they go: For streaming services (Canvas loop, cover sizes), For YouTube (thumbnail), For socials (stories, countdown, out now post, artwork in motion, AI reels) and Images (banners, link preview). Each card shows Ready, Making, Failed or Not made.

Make the whole kit

Open the song in Promote → Releases.
Optional: in the look panel, pick a style, a font and your logo. Click Save this look as my default to start every new song with it. The colours always come from the artwork.
Click Make the N missing. Music24 makes the stories, the posts, the cover sizes, the banners, the thumbnail, the link preview and one Canvas loop. You can close the page: we email you when the kit is ready.
Click Download on a card, or Download all (.zip) for every ready file. When the zip takes longer, we email you the link.

Make one asset in Studio

Open Promote → Studio, or click Make something on a song page. Pick the song, then a format (Image or Short video), then a theme, then the details, and click Make it. Full video (lyric video, visualizer, music video) shows Coming soon. The AI reel is one of the Short themes and keeps its own review before it goes to your posts.

Click Post it on a ready asset to open the Composer with the file. New version opens Studio with the same settings. The card then shows the new version.

What it costs

Images are free. A short video uses 1 video credit. A full-song video will use 3. A failed asset gives its credits back. See Monthly quotas for the credits of each plan and the credit packs.

On Free, every asset carries the Music24 watermark, the Canvas loop and the cover sizes too. Paid plans have no watermark.

The link preview goes on your SmartLink

When the link preview of a song is ready, it becomes the image that chat apps and social networks show when someone shares the SmartLink or the pre-save page of that song. A new version replaces it. The card says In use on your smartlink.

When an asset fails

The card says why and offers Try again. The most common reason is artwork that is too small: the cover sizes need artwork of at least 3000 × 3000 px. Upload a larger artwork in the Catalog, then try again.

Questions

Where is Reel Studio?

Studio replaced it. Open Promote → Studio, pick Short video and then AI reel. An old Reel Studio link opens the same place.

Can I upload the Canvas loop to Spotify for you?

No. The services have no way for us to do that. Download the loop and add it in Spotify for Artists. The day after the release, we email you a reminder.

Can my team members make assets?

Yes. Every member of the workspace can make assets and use its video credits. Only the owner can buy a credit pack.
