API access on the Label plan

The Label plan lets you call the Music24 API with your own tokens and connect AI clients over MCP. You manage tokens in Settings → API.

Checked on Oct 1, 2026

The Music24 API gives you the same chart, playlist and follow data the app runs on, so you can build your own dashboards and automations. API access is part of the Label plan ($149 a month, USD). On every other plan, Settings → API shows an upgrade banner instead of your tokens.

Where to find it

Open Settings → API in the web app, or Settings → API in the iPhone or Android app. The API access page lists your tokens and, on the web, a Quickstart with an example request.

How tokens work

  • A personal token starts with m24_. We show it once, when you create it, and keep only its first characters after that.
  • You can hold 5 active tokens. Revoke one to make room for another.
  • A token belongs to the workspace that was active when you created it, and reads that workspace's data. If you leave the workspace, the owner removes you or you delete your account, its tokens stop working.
  • Every member of a Label workspace can create their own tokens, not only the owner.
  • Tokens do not expire. A token works until you revoke it.
  • A token acts as you in its workspace. It reads data, and it can also make most of the changes you can make in the app. If you own the workspace, it can also open its billing. It cannot change your email, invite or remove people, switch or rename workspaces, manage tokens or delete the account. Keep it as secret as a password.

Make a request

Send the token in the Authorization header as Token m24_…. The base URL is https://api.music24.com/trpc. A GET reads data. Copy the example request from Quickstart in Settings → API to make your first call, and read the full API documentation.

Limits

Each person can make 30 requests a minute to an endpoint. The limit counts per user, so more tokens do not give you more requests. Over the limit, the API answers TOO_MANY_REQUESTS. Wait a minute and try again.

The API follows the same plan limits as the app, such as 365 days of history on Label.

Need higher limits, custom endpoints or a licensing arrangement? Email [email protected].

If the workspace leaves the Label plan, your tokens stay, but every request is refused with "API access requires the Music24 Label plan." They work again when the workspace returns to Label.

Next steps: Create and revoke a token, or use Music24 from an AI client (MCP).
